The Higgins Academy Story
Since 2004, Higgins Academy has been a respected leader in the Irish dance community in the Hills district and beyond. Our staff is made up of high-level teachers and choreographers with years of experience in the industry. They have trained numerous dancers into confident, well-rounded performers that are prepared to conquer any stage or dance floor.
Little Jiggers
Irish, Tap and Jazz
Our Little Jigger class is designed for preschoolers aged 3-5 years. Filled with fun, music and dance the 45 minute class is perfect for your little one looking at starting Irish Dance. The Little Jigger Combo class offers Irish, Tap and Jazz.
Beginner & Primary Irish
Led by some of our top-level instructors, this class is an important way to build foundations while developing new techniques. Understand yourself better as a dancer and gain essential skills that will help you grow.
Advanced Irish
Advanced Irish is designed for our competitive dancers to learn new challenging choreography, and develop existing skills. Our teachers make sure everyone gets personal attention while keeping the class collaborative and fun.
RAD Ballet & Performance Classes
This class is a favourite among many of our students who love a challenge and the chance to try something new. Enjoy the opportunity to train with our leading instructors and leave feeling excited, joyful, and full of inspiration. Performance classes include Jazz, Tap, Lyrical and Royal Academy of Dance Ballet, and now also include Acro!
